Guests in Purgatory originally started in January, 2006 and flowed steadily for about two years, until other portions of life got in Oribe's way. While stopped, the idea never left Oribe's mind, so she kept building the story, figuring out the details and twists, new characters and life lessons to be learned along the way, and proceeded to redraw all original pages. Now, after two years of studying the visual arts and countless hours of practice with photoshop under her belt, Oribe has re-released Guests in Purgatory with the help of her talented web developer fiance!


Guests in Purgatory boils down to two teenage boys, Yuki and Aki, that have died long before their scheduled departure of the living world. Complete strangers to each other, they must live together in Purgatory while their accompanying death god Rin tries to figure out what to do with them. Will Yuki and Aki stay separated as they expiate for sins they haven't committed yet? Or will their blackened thread of fate keep them together and possibly lead to more? Only time will tell so stay tuned!
